Roma Ridge Real Estate Sales Report in August 2020

In most cases, the back and forth between negotiations between a buyer and seller on the purchase offer of a home should only last a between 1-3 days. The DiMora Team are real estate experts in the Novi and Northville neighborhoods and we know that there are circumstances like a bidding war or an indecisive buyer (which could potentially extend the process by as much as a week or so), negotiations should only take a few hours. Normally, when it comes to pricing and getting a sale price, you’re back and forth at the most three times. At that point, you’ve gotten the seller and the buyer to their breaking point. Very rarely does it ever go past that. This allows opportunity for consideration of counteroffers, and also lets both the buyer and seller know that both parties are serious about coming to an agreement in good faith and a timely manner. During negotiations, you will discuss the purchase price, closing date, closing costs, earnest money, and buyer’s contingencies such as those terms related to financing, the home inspection, and the home appraisal. If the buyer wants to add any special contingencies, that could take up more time in negotiations.
