If you decide to buy a house listed “as is” what you’ve got to be very careful about is to understand that you still get your regular inspection period and that you should be having a professional inspector inspect the home. They should inspect the electrical, heating, air conditioning systems, the water tanks–all those types of things that can cause you as a consumer, when you are buying, a problem up front.
