Briarwood Real Estate Sales Report in December 2015

The DiMora Team are real estate experts in the Novi and Northville neighborhoods and lately we are seeing a lot of bidding wars.  We have a few suggestions that might help.  First, make sure you and your Realtor are keeping up with all new homes that come on the market, being first to view the property and making an offer is key in a low inventory areas.  Second, if something comes up that is exactly what you want, be prepared to offer full list price.  A lot of buyers feel like they are over paying when they offer full list price, but that isn’t necessarily true.  Know what other homes are going for in that area.  Third, don’t settle.  Your sense of urgency can rise when inventory is low.  Don’t go against your gut and sacrifice what you really want just to secure something.  If you aren’t in a hurry and you lose out on a few homes, another one will come along.  Check out below to see what sold in Briarwood in December 2015:

If you don’t want to get into the competitive nature of these deals, it may be best to stick to traditional sales.
