When selling your home, owning a pet does not have to be a deterrent to potential buyers. Pet odors can be the biggest obstacle, but that is something that can be mitigated if the pet is trained. The DiMora Team are real estate experts in the Northville and Novi neighborhoods and we know that some people may recommend that you remove the pet, the pet’s bed and toys, etc. when you place the home on the market and have potential buyers looking at it. I personally own a pet and likely would not go through the trouble if selling my home. As long as the home is clean, odor free and pet hair free, you shouldn’t have a problem. Check out below to see what sold in Stonewater in January 2016:
18321 Clairmont Circle, Northville: 4 bedrooms, 4.1 bathrooms, 3,500 sq. feet, 3 car garage, Sold Price: $611,000
We have walked through many a home with buyers that got a smile on their faces when the family pet came over to say hello.
