Parkstone Real Estate Sales Report in March 2016

When your home for sale has been sitting on the market for a while, how long should you wait before you lower the price?  As the seller, you should be asking buyers and their brokers for feedback after private viewings and pay close attention to see if there are any common positives or negatives in their responses.  If there is a common theme of “It’s a bit expensive,” then you’ll know it’s time to start a price drop.  One thing that can cost you the most money is having your home stagnate on the market so you shouldn’t wait for the perfect buyer to come along.  Houses set at the right price should start getting offers within the first few weeks.  If you haven’t seen any action in a while, it might be time to take your house off the market, do some touch-ups, and relist.  Check out below to see what sold in Parkstone in March 2016:

Above all else, you need to consider the market.  There’s no universal timeline that will tell you when to reduce your price.  For more information on Parkstone, or similar Northville or Novi neighborhoods such as Northville Trails, Woodside Village and Addington Park, contact The DiMora Team today at 248-505-7728 or jim@dimora.com.
