It seems elementary that a person selling a home would want to provide as much access as possible to the home to lure in potential buyers. Giving access is certainly key to getting your home sold; yet we continue to see resistance in this area. The DiMora Team are real estate experts in the Novi and Northville neighborhoods and we have seen listings that have not gotten a lot of showings mostly due to lack of access. Some examples are: The property cannot be shown unless the owner is present; the property could not be seen when the Buyers wanted to see it or the owner wanted the showing always on their terms. I am sure you know what happened, the agents moved on to other properties. The point sellers should keep in mind is that the person you denied access might have been the person who would have purchased the home.
