Is there anything else you can do to get your offer on your dream home accepted after it was rejected?  The DiMora Team are real estate experts in the Northville and Novi neighborhoods and we know that if the property is overpriced and the offer that the Seller accepted is a financed offer then most likely the property will not appraise and the current buyer will have to bring in the difference between the appraised value and the price they offered in order to close the deal.  Lenders will not finance more than the appraised value of a property.  In most cases buyers do not want to pay the difference.  When you made your bid make sure you checked the box that asks if your offer can be retained as a back up offer?  If so, there is a very remote chance that your offer may come back up for consideration should the current buyer back out.  Check out below to see what sold in The Villas at Northville Hills Golf Club in August 2015:
